Rep. Gordon Joins House Colleagues to Pass State’s 2022 Budget

State Rep. Ken Gordon, D–Bedford, and his colleagues in the state House of Representatives passed the Fiscal Year 2022 (FY22) budget on Thursday, March 29.

The $47.7 billion budget includes significant investments in education, supportive services for vulnerable populations, MassHealth, and economic development, in addition to local funding for the towns of Burlington and Bedford.

State School Building Authority Adopts New Fox Hill Campus Project Into Feasibility Process

A big project proposed by Burlington Public Schools took one step forward last week.

School Department administrators posted on the school website that they are pleased to announce that the Massachusetts School Building Authority Board (MSBA) voted at the most recent board meeting to invite Burlington Public Schools into its feasibility process to replace the Fox Hill School. School Committee Chair Tom Murphy joined State Representative Ken Gordon and State Senator Cindy Friedman in thanking the MSBA.
