Bill to Improve Tech Equipment Includes $175,000 for Burlington Public Schools

A new bond bill supported by Burlington’s representatives in the state house to improve technology infrastructure includes $175,000 for Burlington Public Schools.

According to a joint release from State Sen. Cindy Friedman and State Rep. Ken Gordon, the Massachusetts Legislature recently passed a bill authorizing up to $1.8 billion in spending for the improvement of information technology equipment and other capital projects in Massachusetts, including an authorization to support technology infrastructure upgrades at Burlington Public Schools.
